CAN WE EXTEND THE TIME PERIOD OF THE PACKAGES LISTED?
Absolutely! All packages can be customised and hours can be extended or even reduced if you’d prefer to opt for minimal coverage.
IS IT POSSIBLE TO HAVE MORE THAN ONE PHOTOGRAPHER?
Yes, an additional photographer can be booked for a minimum period of three hours.
WHO IS THE SECOND PHOTOGRAPHER?
Aforementioned wingman, Paul, is Porcelain Veil’s second shooter. If for any reason he is unavailable, we have a number of experienced photographers who are ready and raring to step in.
DO YOU OFFER ALBUMS WITH YOUR PACKAGES?
Yes, we do. Albums can be added on to any package and prices start at $1,500. Check out the pricing page here for additional information.
HAVE YOU SHOT AT OUR VENUE BEFORE?
Porcelain Veil has shot weddings at a range of different venues, so there is a chance that we have photographed at yours. If your wedding is at a new location, Emma always does extensive online research as well as a thorough walk-through well in advance of the big day.
OUR WEDDING IS INTERSTATE/OVERSEAS. ARE YOU ABLE TO TRAVEL?
Absolutely. The prices of the package remains unchanged whether the wedding is local, interstate or overseas. Additional travel costs may be incurred, such as airfares, accommodation and car rental. This can be arranged by Emma and included in the cost of your quote and invoice.
HOW DO I BOOK YOU FOR MY WEDDING?
We require 50% of the total fee to be paid as a deposit. Once this has been received, the date is considered reserved exclusively. The remaining balance of the invoice is due no later than two weeks prior to the event.
IF WE CANCEL OUR BOOKING, WILL WE RECEIVE OUR DEPOSIT/BOOKING FEE BACK?
For cancellations that are more than 12 months away from the event date, 50% of the deposit/booking fee will be retained as a cancellation fee, with the remaining 50% being refunded. For cancellations within 12 months of the event date, the entire deposit will be retained as a cancellation fee.
ARE WE ABLE TO MEET YOU BEFORE WE BOOK?
Definitely! It’s an excellent opportunity for you to tell us your story, plans for the big day and for you to ask any questions that spring to mind. It’s also a great opportunity for us to get to know each other better and ensure that we are a good fit for your wedding. If a face-to-face meeting doesn’t work for you, a Skype or phone call is a useful alternative.
CAN WE GIVE YOU A LIST OF THE PHOTOS THAT WE WOULD LIKE TAKEN?
We are always happy to sit down and discuss the dynamics of your wedding, and will make every effort to accommodate specific shots, however we can’t guarantee that we will be able to capture them all. If there are any special features or traditional elements, these will need to be discussed at least four weeks prior to the wedding day.
WHAT DO YOU WEAR TO OUR WEDDING?
We aim to dress in attire that enables us to blend in as guests would, yet allows us to be as active as possible while still looking smart. For Emma, trousers and a blouse or a pretty sleeveless top is a typical outfit.
WHEN WILL WE RECEIVE OUR PHOTOS?
Within four to six weeks of your wedding day.
HOW WILL WE RECEIVE OUR PHOTOS?
We supply final high resolution JPEG images to you via post on a custom USB stick. We are currently in the process of developing a system that allows you to view, download and share your images from a personal online gallery. Watch this space!
